Please note, the registration fee is not inclusive of accommodation.
However, we will ensure that every delegate is adequately accommodated. As and when your registration forms are received, we will contact you, and work with you on a one-on-one basis to arrange your stay in Kolkata.
We will help you arrange your stay at one of the following places:
(Premium 5 Star Luxury Hotel - 1 Km from Conference Venue) JA-1, Sector III, Salt Lake City, Kolkata(Calcutta) - 700 098.
Single Occupancy – Rs. 5000 (USD 105) Twin sharing – Rs. 2875 (USD 60)
This rate is per person per night and is inclusive of all taxes and includes breakfast.
2. Siesta Guest Houses: There are 3 guest houses within a 2 km radius of the conference venue, with a total of 13 Air-Conditioned rooms. These are really nice, comfortable rooms with 24 hour room service. Breakfast is included. Preference will be given to those opting for triple sharing on these rooms.
Twin Sharing - Rs. 600 (USD 13) per person per night Triple Sharing – Rs. 450 (USD 10) per person per night
3. Pan Asia Guest House: (5 Km from the Conference Venue) New Town, Rajarhat, near Sector V, Salt Lake City. This is a nice, comfortable, guest house with 20 good, Air-Conditioned rooms. This guest house offers facilities such as a complimentary drop and pick-up from the conference venue, mineral water supply, and comes with a very good complimentary breakfast.
This Guest house only has rooms on twin sharing, and is available at Rs. 550 (USD 12) per person per person.
4. Tata Communications Service Apartments: (Adjacent To Conference Venue) These are basic non Air-conditioned apartments and do not provide breakfast. Each apartment has 3 rooms. Each room will be shared by 2 or 3 persons. This is the cheapest accommodation one can find. The rate is Rs. 150 (USD 3) per person per night. Its proximity to the venue is the best thing about these apartments.

5. NUJS Hostels We have a very limited number of hostel rooms that we could provide to delegates, free of charge. Preference will be given to foreign delegates who are not able to arrange alternate accommodation.
Please do not contact us asking to be accommodated in the NUJS Hostels. We will offer this to delegates on our own (whose accommodation we fail to finalise).

Hotels Combined Hotels Combined provides a price comparison system, and there is a 10% rebate on accommodation cost available to participants of the ILSA International Conference, 2009 who book through this website. You can find more information from their conference support scheme pages. To take advantage of this, you will need to book through their list of hotels in Calcutta.
Accommodation in Calcutta is plentiful, and a quick web search will highlight numerous options to fit a wide range of price brackets. We do encourage all conference participants to book accommodation as early as possible, so as to get the best deals possible.
